The importance of a Spring or Fall clean up often go missed. It is vital to lawns and gardens to have all old dead debris removed to allow for new growth.

Here is our new location, a property that once had beautiful gardens that got away from the original home owner.
Garden beds were raked out, soil was cultivated, the lawn was cleared of debris and given a light rake. Some Hydrangeas were removed because of over crowding, and the rest were cut back to prepare for this year. A beautiful and well established Clematis needed a trim back to allow for new growth.
This was a big project to get cleaned up, and still more work to be done to get things restored to their original beauty.

Leaf removal was not done in the fall, and so you can see here there is some winter kill on the grass.
